Acquire property

Mexican laws allow foreigners to acquire property throughout the country. In the case of properties on the beaches (in a strip of 50 km) or on the borders (in a strip of 100 km), the purchase and sale transaction can be carried out through a Mexican company created by the foreign investor, which can have 100% foreign capital, i.e., its shares can be fully acquired by foreigners. Similarly, the acquisition of these properties in these places can be carried out through a Trust, which functions in a very similar way to the “Trusts” of the United States of America, where a bank is the Trustee.
